Do you like Angels? Do they always protect us?

1. What are Angels?

2. What do they have to do with man?

3. The ancient secret that is known but treated as trivial.

4. The influence they have today.

5. The future of Angels.

Where Are The Angels From?

The Angels' Beginning.

God, who created everything, before the creation of the physical universe, created living intelligent spirit beings.

You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.- Nehemiah 9:6

Out of God's unfathomable energy and power, He created the angels. When? We don't have to look for an exact date but there are clues written in God's word as how they relate to the creation of Man.

“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding, Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it? "On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God shouted for joy?" - Job 38:4-7

As we can see from here, the angels are there when God laid the foundation of the earth. They are created long before Man was.

How many were they?

" A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened. " - Daniel 7:10

Let it suffice to say that they are so many.

Why would God create so many angels? In Hebrew, the original word used for "angel" is mal’ak and aggelos (ἄγγελος) in Greek. Both meaning "messenger". Apparently, angels are God's messengers, acting as agents of God's will and representative. Created for the sole purpose of serving God.

Do angels have will? Being familiar with the story of Adam and Eve and how they were led by an invisible spirit that use a serpent to talk to Eve, it is clear that an angel can decide to be obedient to God or not, much like humans do.

Being spirit creations, they are invisible to the naked physical eyes that we possess. But at times, they can show themselves in human form. When they do, they usually appear as human males. An example of angel representing God and appearing as male can be found in Genesis Chapter 17 and 18.

Angels and Man

Angels in our lives.

What would angels have to do with man?

Considering the span of time that passed after the creation of angels and the creation of man, it is understandable that angels have been used to existing without any other intelligent being around except for God Himself.

Having powers like the ones recounted on God's word, they have seen and experienced so much in that span of time before we came around. Some of them may feel privileged for authority over the new comers.

So, when Adam was created, having their own will, some of them may have felt threatened by man's existence.

Especially when they came to know that God was designating man as the subduer (ruler) of other physical living creations of God.

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."- Genesis 1:26

There are many reasons why angels would be so interested in man. If you add power struggle into the mix, you get a lot more.

It is even possible that before the arrival of man, an angel was in charge of the land:

13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. 14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. 15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. 16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. - Ezekiel 28:13-16

So, an angel, a beautiful and perfect cherub was in Eden until wickedness was found in him.

Having heard that man, the new comer in his "territory" was being designated by God as the ruler, this cherub has decided to spoil the purpose of God. He led the man away from God's grace and thus he himself fell from it.

Angels and man are now thrown into a struggle.

God saw what happened, He know what happened. That is why, while our first parents have to suffer God's pronounced punishment for disobedience to His simple and singular command not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, He immediately put into effect the way back of man towards Him.

He declared this soon after the first sin:

14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."- Genesis 3:14-15

The decision was made and the future was set. Fallen angels would be enemies to the God-obedient man.

A Holy Secret

What is the holy secret that despite being known by many is still a secret?

It is that fallen angels have always put forth tremendous effort to make man fall too. You see, you are now thinking that you know this already. The real secret lies on the "how" they are trying to accomplish this.

Seeds

In Genesis 3:15, there are two seeds that were mentioned. Seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman.

" 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. - 1Genesis 3:5 KJV

What are those seeds? Are they simply metaphorical seeds? For the ease of discussion let us accept the fact that those seeds can very well fit metaphorical use. The good seed that will eventually come from the woman which is Christ, will crush the bad seed that result from those that follows the ways and choices of the rebellious angel. Done.

Now let us see if the literal use fits the bill too.

Can there be a literal seed coming from the fallen angel that talked to Eve?

Again, we can only base our conclusion on the information given by the Word of God.

Let us review the verses that have anything to do with what happened in Eden.

1 Now the snake was the most cunning animal that the Lord God had made. The snake asked the woman, "Did God really tell you not to eat fruit from any tree in the garden?" 2 "We may eat the fruit of any tree in the garden," the woman answered, 3 "except the tree in the middle of it. God told us not to eat the fruit of that tree or even touch it; if we do, we will die." 4 The snake replied, "That's not true; you will not die. 5 God said that because he knows that when you eat it, you will be like God and know what is good and what is bad." 6 The woman saw how beautiful the tree was and how good its fruit would be to eat, and she thought how wonderful it would be to become wise. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, and he also ate it. 7 As soon as they had eaten it, they were given understanding and realized that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and covered themselves." - Genesis 3:1-8

Who was the angel in Eden again? Yup, it was a cherub. By this time he is already a fallen angel. He was the one that used the serpent to trick Eve. What was the lie(trick)? That disobedience to God will not result in death but instead will actually make Eve and Adam gods.

Did it work? We know it did. But what is the tree? What was its fruit? Why would God have a tree in there and then forbid man in eating it?

Let's see if a "tree" in God's word may mean other than literal tree.

4 The two witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lamps that stand before the Lord of the earth - Revelations 11:4

Here in Revelations, witnesses of God are called 2 olive trees.

7 When John saw many Pharisees and Sadducees coming to him to be baptized, he said to them, "You snakes - who told you that you could escape from the punishment God is about to send? 8 Do those things that will show that you have turned from your sins. 9 And don't think you can escape punishment by saying that Abraham is your ancestor. I tell you that God can take these rocks and make descendants for Abraham! 10 The ax is ready to cut down the trees at the roots; every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown in the fire.- Matthew 3:7-10

Here in Matthew, John the baptist called the Pharisees and the Sadducees as trees that does not bear good fruit.

1 The royal line of David is like a tree that has been cut down; but just as new branches sprout from a stump, so a new king will arise from among David's descendants. - Isaiah 11:1

The royal line of David is like a tree.

3 To give to those who mourn in Zion Joy and gladness instead of grief, A song of praise instead of sorrow. They will be like trees That the Lord himself has planted. They will all do what is right, And God will be praised for what he has done. - Isaiah 61:3

The obedient worshippers of YHWH will be like trees.

Are you following the God's revealed truth on how He use the word "tree"? Yes, while there is nothing wrong in it's literal use, we can discern here that it is not limited to such. It can signify other living person who stay long on what it do.

What then can the "tree of knowledge of good and evil" be? It appears that it is also the fallen cherub. Someone who remains so long in its assigned place that it can fairly be compared to a "tree", the cherub being a rebel now and is not obediently following God's will "knows" or decides for himself what is good and what is evil. Eating from him will mean, listening and believing what he says. Not far from how we refer to acquiring knowledge now by comparing it with eating. "Devouring" meaning to get so much info in large chunks. "I am digesting it" means we are slowly thinking about an information to understand it.

And the "serpent" was only used by this fallen angel so that Eve would not feel that she was talking or listening to the "tree" that God has forbidden.

What was the fruit eaten? It is the sexual relation with this fallen angel, which both Eve and Adam did. How can we prove this? The succeeding episodes prove this.

What did they do?

7 As soon as they had eaten it, they were given understanding and realized that they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and covered themselves. Genesis 3:7

Think about this, if Adam and Eve literally "ate" a fruit, what part of their body should have sinned? Yes! The mouth. And yet, after doing the act they realized their nakedness and was ashamed. So ashamed that they now put effort in covering themselves. Instead of having an effect on their digestive tract and mouth, the result affected the sexuality of those involved.

Now consider the result of the act they did:

15 I will make you and the woman hate each other; her offspring and yours will always be enemies. Her offspring will crush your head, and you will bite her offspring's heel."- Genesis 3:15

If the issue is really about food and eating a fruit literally, why does "offspring" enter the picture? Because their actual deed will produce offspring!

And look at the punishments:

16 And he said to the woman, "I will increase your trouble in pregnancy and your pain in giving birth. In spite of this, you will still have desire for your husband, yet you will be subject to him." - Genesis 3:16

Did you see that? Even the punishment to Eve has got to do with her reproductive system!

And please recall that there will be 2 seeds. How will that happen?

1 Then Adam had intercourse with his wife, and she became pregnant. She bore a son and said, "By the Lord's help I have gotten a son." So she named him Cain. 2 Later she gave birth to another son, Abel. Abel became a shepherd, but Cain was a farmer. - Genesis 4:1-2

Did you catch that?! While Adam had only ONE intercourse with his wife Eve, Eve gave birth to 2 sons! Cain and Abel.

While many will try to circumvent the situation and explain away this verse, it is in fact telling us point blank that Cain is not Adam's son. Because Eve is actually pregnant already with the fallen angel that first had sexual relation with her. That explains why Eve said that Cain was a son by the Lord's help, because she saw that the fallen angel is so beautiful and is not like them(humans), treating the fallen angel as a kind of "lord".

Is double pregnancy from two different fathers even possible for humans? Why don't you find out for yourself, there is even a term for it, "superfetation", go ahead and search for its meaning.

It means that Cain was the fallen cherub's son and Abel was Adam's. Let us see what other information gets clearer with this information.

"20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all human beings." - Genesis 3:20

Eve was called the "mother of all human beings" If Adam was the father of Cain and Abel he should also be called the "father of all human beings" but he was not called that way because Adam is not the father of all human beings!

It maybe a bit shocking for you, but don't stop we still have many proofs to see.

When speaking regarding Cain, was he ever mentioned anywhere in the Bible as the son of Adam? No. Instead we find this:

"Don't be like Cain. He was a child of the evil one and murdered his brother..." - 1 John 3:12

Is the above verse unclear? It is so simple it cannot be more clearer. If the writer only wants to tell us that Cain is bad and not an actual son, he can choose so many synonyms of the word "bad" and yet God had inspired him to write the phrase and the word that means being a son of the evil one.

So it is settled, from the very beginning the fallen angels have tried to taint the bloodline of man so that we would fall from God's grace.

The Fallen Angels After the Flood

What happened to the evil bloodline of fallen angels after the flood?

While we can easily understand that Cain's bloodline ended when the flood happened, there are 2 possibilities that this has continued on after the flood. What are those possibilities?

One is the wives of Noah and his sons wives. While we are sure about the names of the important male characters mentioned in God's word, there are no provisions about the females and their genealogy.

The second is written in Genesis 6:2 "

"2 some of the heavenly beings saw that these young women were beautiful, so they took the ones they liked."

It has been suggested by many that, because this particular verse is translated by some bible

version as "the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose." They claim that the phrase "sons of God" does not refer to fallen angels, but instead to the godly descendants of Adam.

Nowhere in the bible did the writers called the descendants of Adam as sons of God, no matter how pious. And angels are sons of God since He was their source of life and in fact the same term is used at the book of Job:

One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. - Job 1:6 NIV

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. Job 1:6 ESV

We have to take note that the bible clearly states that the giants are the product of humans and these sons of God.

"4 In those days, and even later, there were giants on the earth who were descendants of human women and the heavenly beings. They were the great heroes and famous men of long ago." - Genesis 6:4

Have any religious man who married a woman begot a giant yet? The illicit union of human female with the fallen angels in human form produced giants.

Clearly showing that their mission of defiling human bloodline did not end with the flood even IF it ended Cain's bloodline, which is not definitive as shown above.

Please notice that this fallen angels' act of committing sex with human females is not confined in the time of Noah. The key phrase to notice is "and even later" in Genesis 6:4

They are bent on destroying man's credibility towards God.

Is this still going on? Let the bible answer:

And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. -

Daniel 2:43

This is a part of a prophetic explanation given by Daniel to King Nebuchadnezzar. At the end times, which correspond to the feet and the toes of the gigantic statue of the King's dream, this is what Daniel said. Remember that the statue is about the governments that will rise and fall and that will have great impact with the chosen nation of Israel. It means that the end time government would be defiled with the seeds of those who want to "mingle themselves with the seeds of men". If they want to mingle with the seeds of men, is it reasonable to say that they are NOT MEN? Yes, of course! Or else this would make no sense at all.

In conclusion, we can say that the defiling effort of these fallen angels of the human bloodline is an ongoing exercise for them. We should not be surprised if the whole world seem to ignore the common sense of doing good towards one another.

Fallen Angels' Bloodline in Christ's Time

What did Christ reveal about this sinister plot of the fallen angels to mix themselves into the human genome??

While talking to some of the Jews, Christ said;

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. - John 8:44

Considering that Christ know everything from the beginning, this statement shows the real state of things. That some of the Jews in his time are sons of the devil. Quite literally. It is actually the period of time when the pronouncements of God in Genesis 3:15 can be fulfilled. And they did.

Christ, the seed of the woman, was blown a strike that is not fatal. The other part of the prophecy, the "crushing of the serpent's head" lies ahead.

It just goes to prove that the struggle among godly angels and the fallen angels raged on specially in the time of Christ here on earth.

Christ's encounter with these spirits also demonstrated where this struggle is heading.

"Go away! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!" - Luke 4.34

He shouted at the top of his voice, "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In God's name don't torture me!" - Mark 5:7

"What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?" - Matthew 8:29

And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel." - Matthew 9:33

and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was. - Mark 1:34

When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. - Mark 16:9

The preceding are just few of those encounters, can you find a single one where the fallen angels got the upper hand against Christ? Can you find any instance of them even able to refuse Him? All I can see are scenes where these fallen angels are shouting out of fear of being tortured by Christ!

That is why those who are obedient to God like how Christ admonishes, can be sure of winning this battle in the end, whatever hardship these legions of fallen angels may throw on the way of the faithful, God and His Christ can surely reverse the effects at the end. Much like what happened to the upright Job.

From the ascension of Christ, the work of these fallen angels intensified.

They immediately went to twist the message and mislead the followers of Christ.

From then on, many of these fallen angels appear to man and mislead them to believe they are the Christ and other persons which their victim believe upon.

This is the reason why many people are seeing "aliens" from another planet, "mother Mary" "saints" "god the father" and many other versions, all leading the masses to put their hopes on. Propagating lies.

They are the fallen angels that are striving to make the man fall fom God's favor.

A very notable and most influential example of this is the appearance of "christ" to Paul.

How can we be sure that it is not really Christ? That instead it is one of those fallen angel claiming to be Christ?

Let us look at the incident closely.

1 In the meantime Saul kept up his violent threats of murder against the followers of the Lord. He went to the High Priest 2 and asked for letters of introduction to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he should find there any followers of the Way of the Lord, he would be able to arrest them, both men and women, and bring them back to Jerusalem. 3 As Saul was coming near the city of Damascus, suddenly a light from the sky flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul! Why do you persecute me?" 5 "Who are you, Lord?" he asked. "I am Jesus, whom you persecute," the voice said. 6 "But get up and go into the city, where you will be told what you must do." 7 The men who were traveling with Saul had stopped, not saying a word; they heard the voice but could not see anyone. 8 Saul got up from the ground and opened his eyes, but could not see a thing. So they took him by the hand and led him into Damascus. 9 For three days he was not able to see, and during that time he did not eat or drink anything. 10 There was a believer in Damascus named Ananias. He had a vision, in which the Lord said to him, "Ananias!" "Here I am, Lord," he answered. 11 The Lord said to him, "Get ready and go to Straight Street, and at the house of Judas ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying, 12 and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he might see again." 13 Ananias answered, "Lord, many people have told me about this man and about all the terrible things he has done to your people in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come to Damascus with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who worship you." 15 The Lord said to him, "Go, because I have chosen him to serve me, to make my name known to Gentiles and kings and to the people of Israel. 16 And I myself will show him all that he must suffer for my sake." 17 So Ananias went, entered the house where Saul was, and placed his hands on him. "Brother Saul," he said, "the Lord has sent me - Jesus himself, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here. He sent me so that you might see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit." - Acts 9:1-17

Okay, what are the proofs here that the one who appeared to Paul was not really Christ?(Please take note that we are talking about this scene as they are claimed to happen by Paul)

First, Saul of Tarsus is a man against Christ and His followers. Christ do not exert much effort to convert His opponents, He even let the doubters go away if they like, why choose a murdering opponent to lead a gigantic task of converting the gentiles?

Second, Christ never, ever introduced Himself in that manner, even when questioned under duress, Christ reply in an indirect way of making His true identity known.

Third, the most important city for Christ is not Damascus. So if Christ would lead someone to MAKE him a convert, He would be choosing Jerusalem.

Fourth, Christ and Paul are contemporaries, if Christ would like to convert somebody, He would have approached him directly while He is still alive. Much like how He approached His 12 apostles.

Fifth, Ananias is just a believer much like everyone else, why use him? When the 12 apostles who were handpicked by Christ were still around to do that job?

Sixth, Christ never ever put an illness to anyone to convert them by making them well again later. Who do you think uses such tactic of making the people ill and then later give them the antidote so they will get well and look up to them as the "savior"? Yes! They are the kind of people we call "CON MEN" nowadays!

Seventh, Christ never ever sent anyone to the "gentiles" when He was alive. Do you think He forgot to do something that important? Instead He clearly said, He is sent only for the lost sons of Israel. (Matthew 15:24) and He clearly commanded His apostles not to go to the gentiles (Matthew 10:5) So it is not a "forgotten" task, it is not needed and intentionally avoided. Then all of a sudden a persecutor is chosen to do this gigantic task? When your parents who are going away, told you not to open the door to anyone, then someone called and said they have talked to your parents and that your parents are now asking you to open the door for this stranger, who should you believe? It's a widely known con-man tactic again.

Eighth, what was the point again of sending Saul to meet Ananias? Was that detail necessary for Christ? If something is not really necessary and yet it was asked to be done, was it not just to create DRAMA and gain attention? Did Christ do anything just for attention?

Verdict: The spirit that appeared to Saul and Ananias was just using Christ to propagate a misleading message. It was one of the fallen angels.

Fallen Angels in Our Time

Michael_fighting_the_dragon1.jpg

With all the things they have done in the past, their work of misleading the people away from being obedient to God is now well founded.

A weak man have no chance of escaping their traps.

Many are the traps now in effect to the point that living in this world is like walking in an spiritual land mine filled pathway.

There is only one way to protect ourselves and our family. Use the blood of God's lamb. Blood is equated to life by God in His own word (Lev 17:14) How can we use Christ's life? By imitating it. Live like He did. In full obedience to God. Believe all His teachings.

This is the only guaranteed way to win against the fallen angels. Be a real Jew in the sense that you obey all God's law and listen to Christ because He "is the way, the truth and the life".

There are physical Jews that do not do that, they will be removed from the covenant. And there are those who are not born physically to Jewish nation but are willing to obey God, they will be included in God's covenant.

"48but no uncircumcised man may eat it. If a foreigner has settled among you and wants to celebrate Passover to honor the Lord, you must first circumcise all the males of his household. He is then to be treated like a native-born Israelite and may join in the festival.

49The same regulations apply to native-born Israelites and to foreigners who settle among you.”- Exodus 12:48-49

Obey YHWH our real God and you will be treated like a native-born Jew by God Himself. Wonderful isn't it?

Then in the future of this heavenly war among these spirit creatures we call angels, we will have the confidence to win with the Lord.
